The top photo shows a 9 shot string of the following load:
.469/480 grain bullet
85 grains of Schuetzen FG BP by WEIGHT
Bullet seated to give an overall length of 3.075''
Case mouth crimped
Distance of 100 yards from the bench position with a strong wind at my back.
The bottom target shows the same load with the exception of the bullet being seated with 2 grease grooves showing and the same stron wind at my back...
As you can see the longer seated bullets seem to group much better and the new 469 bullet performs much better than the old 466's I had been shooting. I sort of like this load too. It was nice to shoot but I may try to bump up my powder to 90 grains by...
